The first match of the night is a Steel Cage match, and it pits Hunter Hearst Helmsley against Mankind. Triple H was accompanied to the ring by Chyna. Hunter Hearst Helmsley is the 1997 King Of The Ring as he defeated Mankind in the final round of the tournament just a couple a months ago. Mankind is getting a good fan reaction, which is surprising for a Mick Foley in the WWE. The only way to win this match is to get out of the cage either over the top of it, or going through the door. Chyna played a big part in the match, because every time Mankind tried to get out of the cage, she would do her best to stop him. Mankind went off the top of the cage with an elbow drop onto Triple H, and then he got out of the cage for the win as Chyna tried to get Triple H out of the cage. Mankind's music came on after he won, and then it went off. A few minutes later, Dude Love's music came on and Mankind started dancing like Dude Love on the floor!

Todd Pettengill then introduces the person who brought World Wrestling Entertainment back to New Jersey and that's none other than the Governor, Christine Whitman. Todd Pettengill thanks her for getting rid of those taxes and bringing the WWE back to New Jersey. Christine says they are ready to rumble here in New Jersey. This is the first time in eight years since a WWE pay per view has been in the Garden State. The Headbangers are there along with Gorilla Monsoon. Gorilla Monsoon says Christine Whitman is the true people's champion, and he gives her a WWE Championship belt. Tiger Ali Singh is shown in the audience, and he's enjoying himself watching the pay per view.

Goldust vs. Brian Pillman

Brian Pillman is making his way to the ring as he's set for one on one action against Goldust. Goldust was accompanied to the ring by one Marlena. If Brian Pillman doesn't win this match, he will have to wrestle in a dress on RAW tomorrow night. Goldust wins the match when Marlena clobbers Brian Pillman with her purse, and apparently there was a brick in that purse. Brian Pillman will have to wrestle in a dress tomorrow night on RAW! Brian Pillman didn't seem to happy because he has to be embarrassed tomorrow night.

The Godwinns vs. The Legion Of Doom 

The Godwinns are heading to the ring as they're going against the Legion Of Doom tonight. Before the match, the Legion Of Doom say that pay back is going to be hell for the Godwinns, because revenge is sweet! Not too long ago, the Legion Of Doom broke the neck of Henry Godwinn, and since then, the Godwinns have created a new attitude. The Legion Of Doom win the match when they use a spike piledriver on Henry Godwinn. The whole match, the Legion Of Doom were working on the necks of the Godwinns.

Todd Pettengill is with some kid, and they are hoping to give away a Million Dollars. The kid picks number 52 off the WWE board, and the second guy looks like a Stone Cold Steve Austin, and he picks number 13. They call two more people on the phone, and they tell them to pick numbers. No one was lucky enough to win a million dollars, but the people who they called get a $5000 dollars savings bond.

World Wrestling Entertainment European Championship Match

Ken Shamrock vs. The British Bulldog (c)

The British Bulldog is making his way to the ring as he's set to defend the European Championship against Ken Shamrock. The British Bulldog has stated that if he loses this match up, he will eat a can of dog food in front of everyone! Ken Shamrock seemed to be in his zone from bell to bell. The British Bulldog hit Ken Shamrock with some dog food, and Ken Shamrock snapped. Ken Shamrock hit the British Bulldog with the can of dog food, and the referee called for the bell disqualifying Ken Shamrock. Ken Shamrock snapped on the referee in the ring, and continued to beat up on the British Bulldog, the European Champion. Ken Shamrock got a hold on the Bulldog, and he held it for a while, and when he let go, he attacked WWE officials.

Todd Pettengill is backstage with Shawn Michaels, and he asks Shawn Michaels if he will put his career on the line to further his agenda against Bret Hart. Shawn Michaels says there are no problems with he and Bret Hart, any problems were solved at Wrestlemania XII when Shawn beat Bret. Shawn says that he is here to be an impartial referee.

Eight Man Tag Team Match
Los Boricuas vs. The Disciples Of Apocalypse

Los Boricuas are heading to the ring ready for an eight man Tag Team match with the Disciples Of Apocalypse! During the match, the Nation Of Domination show up in the crowd, and they head towards the ring to get a closer look at this huge match. The Boricuas get the win with the help of the Nation as Ahmed Johnson gave Chainz a pearl river plunge on the outside of the ring. Chainz got in the ring and was pinned. After the match, the three factions brawl a bit on the outside of the ring.

World Wrestling Entertainment Intercontinental Championship Match
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Owen Hart (c) 

Just a month ago at the Canadian Stampede, Owen Hart was the one to get the win for his team by pinning Stone Cold Steve Austin, now these two will go one on one for the Intercontinental Championship! Michael Cole tries to grab a word with Stone Cold, and he asks Austin if he is prepared to put his reputation on the line, and Austin says that Cole is fixing to kiss his ass if he doesn't get the hell out of his face! Austin obviously doesn't want to say anything, he wants to go to the ring and kick some ass! Austin has stated that if he doesn't win this match, he will kiss Owen Hart's ass! Owen Hart tried to get himself disqualified and counted out during the match, and Owen Hart targeted Austin's neck during the entire match. Stone Cold Steve Austin is currently one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions with Dude Love. Austin went for a piledriver on Owen, and he reversed it into a tombstone piledriver and he seriously hurt Austin's neck! While Owen Hart was show boating, Austin came up from behind, and he rolled up Owen Hart and pinned him for the three count and won the Intercontinental Championship. Austin was hurt, and WWE officials helped him out of the ring, he couldn't even support his own weight.

Bret "The Hitman" Hart vs. The Undertaker (c) 

Bret the Hitman Hart is coming to the ring as he's set for a match against the Undertaker, and it is for the WWE Championship. Bret Hart has stated in the past that if he doesn't win this match, he will never wrestle on American soil again. This could possibly be the last match for Bret Hart. Shawn Michaels is the special referee for this match, and if he leans towards the Undertaker at all during this match, he too will not be able to wrestle on American soil again. Before the match, Bret Hart tells everyone to stand back, and listen to the Canadian National Anthem. Paul Bearer came to the ring during the match, probably to distract the Undertaker. As Shawn Michaels threatened to disqualify Bret Hart on a number of occasions, Owen Hart and Brian Pillman came to the ring to make sure he didn't do that. Bret Hart worked on the knee of the Undertaker a lot during the match, as Shawn Michaels played a fair referee. The Undertaker got his hands on Shawn Michaels when he didn't count the pin, because Michaels had his eyes on the Hart Foundation. Bret Hart spit in the face of Shawn Michaels, and Shawn Michaels went to clobber Bret Hart with a steel chair, and the Hitman ducked it and Shawn clobbered the Undertaker giving Bret Hart the opportunity to pin the Undertaker. Shawn Michaels had to count the pin or he wouldn't be able to wrestle in the USA! Bret the Hitman Hart won World Wrestling Entertainment Championship for the 5th time!
