They start the show with a recap of last week's show. Lots of yelling and screaming.
They went backstage where Kurt Angle apologized to Dr. Nash for screaming at him at the PPV. Nash casually accepted the apology. Karen Angle sat quietly on the couch, then Nash talked about the Angles waking a sleeping dog with what they did to Sting last week. Nash took us back to the WCW days when Nash's NWO group had their fun with Sting until he tortured the group for two years. He said Sting has two personalities: the nice guy and a demon. Is everyone in this company a schizophrenic? Nash asked whose dumb idea it was to slap around Sting. Kurt and Karen pointed at each other. They proceeded to argue with each other for minutes while Nash sat in silence trying to observe their problems. A random guy walked in and handed Karen a piece of paper. She thought it was just fan mail, so she stuffed it in her pocket. Nash said the Angles need to right their wrong with Sting. Kurt told Karen to go apologize to Sting. She initially refused while throwing a temper tantrum before finally storming off. Kurt breathed a deep sigh and commented on dealing with women. Nash suggested Kurt better pray that Sting buys the apology. Kurt then asked Nash to say a prayer for him.
They went to the arena where Mike Tenay and Don West hyped the show.
1 -- JUDAS MESIAS vs. ERIC YOUNG
No James Mitchell ringside for the debut of his son. Judas opened up with right hands on Young before tossing him over the top rope to the floor. They fought on the floor for a while before returning to the ring. Judas with a modified STO for the win.
WINNER: Judas in 3:00. Nothing happening match. Just TV time for Judas. (1/2*)
Afterward, Judas beat up Young before Shark Boy ran to the ring to make the save. West said Shark Boy has huge balls to get anywhere near Judas, but Shark Boy was quickly subdued with the STO maneuver. He then bit into Young's forehead. Suddenly, referees spilled into the ring and Judas easily cleared them from the ring with a chair. Rhino then showed up with a chair and scared Judas away from the ring.
Backstage, Crystal joined A.J. Styles and Tomko at a luau set. Christian Cage walked in as Styles handed out all sorts of goodies from the island setting. Tomko grabbed Styles by the neck and told him to get serious. He whisked him away, leaving Christian alone with Crystal for an interview. Christian hyped up Fatu, but said Fatu is debuting at the wrong time because he's upset with Samoa Joe and he's taking it out on Fatu.

They aired a video package on the Steiner Brothers, labeling them the most-decorated tag team in wrestling history. They showed the feud between the Steiners and Team 3D.
2 -- A.J. STYLES (w/Tomko) vs. RON KILLINGS (w/Pacman Jones)
Styles held control early on, but Pacman distracted him. Styles then chased Pacman to the outside, then back into the ring where Killings met him with a clothesline.

Killings was in control out of the break, but Tomko helped Styles re-gain control with a quick knee to the back from the apron behind the ref's back. Styles then hit a spinkick before nailing a back flip reverse DDT for a nearfall. Styles went up top, but Pacman distracted him. Killings tried to take advantage, but Styles landed a soccer kick. He had the Clash ready, but Tomko had the ref distracted for some reason. That allowed Pacman to pull a Bart Simpson and spray Styles in the face. Killings then hit the axe kick on Styles for the win.
WINNER: Killings in 10:00. Just a TV match. Nothing wrong with it; gave the tag title feud some focus. (*)
[Q3]
Backstage, Karen Angle met with Jeremy Borash to put forth her best effort at a sincere apology to Sting. She then twisted the knife by saying that if Sting is truly a gentleman, he will meet her in the ring tonight to accept her apology.
[Commercial Break]
Karen Angle walked out and Tenay talked about the Angles hoping Sting will buy Karen's apology. Apparently Sting doesn't have a monitor to watch the opening segment. Karen then went through an elaborate, over-done apology, which the fans responded with a chant of "You suck." Karen said she's trying to apologize. She then wished Sting the best of luck facing Kurt in a title match at Bound for Glory. Suddenly, there was a voice. Sting emerged from the tunnel and said he's not going to get involved in another Angle plot. He said his match against Kurt will be one-on-one with no involvement from Karen. She wasn't buying it. Sting then asked her if she read the document. She then pulled out the document and Sting said it's a restraining order that says Karen cannot come within 50 feet of him or face an arrest. Sting, being the great babyface that he is, starting running down the ramp and into the ring to get Karen within 50 feet of him. Suddenly, random dudes wearing "Police" t-shirts came down the ramp and cuffed her. Kurt Angle then came out sporting sunglasses to call Sting a sonofabitch. They went for the rear shot of Karen being escorted away through the backstage area. She screamed all the way backstage to the nice rental car serving as a police vehicle. She screamed, "I hate you Sting!" as the car sped off. Kurt screamed that she didn't do anything wrong. Ugh.
Ringside, Tenay and West commented on how much they admired Sting for what he did by involving the law to subdue Karen. Yes, Sting is a great man for playing gotcha with Karen.
Christian Cage came to the ring for the main event match against Junior Fatu. Fatu then came out to a subdued remix of his WWE music. His trunks read the following: "Bootylicious". Let's cut to a break, please.

[Q4]
3 -- CHRISTIAN CAGE vs. JUNIOR FATU
They locked up and Fatu tossed Christian across the ring and to the outside. Christian regrouped on the floor, but took right hand blows back in the ring. Fatu whipped Christian into the corner, then went for a big splash, but Christian moved out of the way. That didn't phase Fatu, who threw Christian to the apron and bumped him off the apron into the guardrail.

They showed a clip from during the break when Christian took advantage with a top rope dropkick. Back to the action, Christian missed with a top rope frog splash and both men recovered on the mat. Fatu came back with a standing sidekick to the face before stalking Christian for a running rear splash in the corner. Suddenly, Christian sat down in the corner and Fatu heard the sound of a body dropping. New fans have no idea what's going on. Fatu then went for the big rear splash, but Christian moved. Fatu answered with a press slam from the apron back into the ring. He then dragged Christian to the corner for the Bonzai drop, but Christian got his knees up to block the move. Fatu followed with a Samoan Drop, but Christian kicked out before three. Suddenly, A.J. Styles showed up on the apron to distract Fatu. He helped Christian avoid a Samoan Drop and Christian rolled up Fatu with a hook of the tights for the win.
WINNER: Christian in 12:00. Standard TV main event match with some basic back-and-forth action, interference leading to the finish, and a post-match angle to get the loser's heat back right away. Fatu looked fine, but there are 20 other wrestlers on the roster who potentially deserve that TV main event slot. (*1/2)
After the match, Fatu pulled Styles into the ring and smashed both men's heads together. How? Like a couple of coconuts, according to Don West. Tenay told Fatu to assume the position when Styles and Christian dropped into the corner. Styles took a stinkface, then Christian accepted the stinkface. Again, newer fans have no idea what's going on. Tomko then jumped in the ring and made it a three-on-one beating before a tourist hit the ring. Oh wait, that's Samoa Joe in cargo shorts and a t-shirt. He made the save for Fatu and they beat down Christian's group before clearing them from the ring. Suddenly, something was happening elsewhere.
Backstage, Judas Mesias was attacking Sting with a rope. Tenay said James Mitchell is orchestrating this attack, but we never saw Mitchell. Judas choked the life out of Sting, as Tenay and West put it. Judas then released the noose and left Sting choking and gasping for air. TNA just doesn't think any of the issues from this summer apply to them. You can't help but laugh at the absurdity of it because it's just par for the course with this company to use inane logic in some of their TV programming decisions.
