Raw comes on the air and we see a recap of the main event last night at Summerslam where John Cena defeated Randy Orton to retain the WWE title. Soon after, Randy Orton's music hits and he is making his was down the ramp. Lots of cheers for Orton. Randy starts by saying he spent the entire day in church. He's convinced he witnessed a miracle last night, John Cena walking out of Summerslam, still the WWE Champion. As he was on his knees in church, he had an epiphany. He says he had that match won, and that he should be WWE Champ. But the guy who needs to be prayin is John Cena. He says Cena better thank God that he walked out the champ, and that Orton didnt end his career like he did the others. Next time, John Cena wont be so lucky. Rest assure there will be a next time, because he's demanding a rematch for the WWE Title. He says Cena has 2 choices, come out here and accept the challenge or 2... CENA's Music hits...and he's coming down the ramp.
Cena says "gimme a rematch, OR WHAT?" Are you gonna complain about this and that, but yetyou still couldnt get the job done. He hears all this stuff about ending careers and being a 3rd generation superstar, but at Summerslam with everything on the line, he still failed to get the job done. No hard feelings, because Orton's been whoopin his ass for weeks, making statement after statement. Cena says he's got his own statement for Orton. "THE CHAMP IS HERE!" Orton goes berzerk. Cena says "easy big guy, we dont cry over spilled milk." He says you lost, so you move down and other people move up. And as he's thinking about other people making their returns last night, the GM might have something to say about the #1 contender. He plugs Boston, MA (his home town). Then he says, if Orton doesnt get his rematch, how about for tonight, John Cena vs. Triple H! William Regal's music hits. Regal says Cena will not face Triple H tonight. Orton says Thank you, thanks for the opportunity, but Regal says he wont be facing Cena either. Regal says, however Cena will be in action against someone who would like to forget all about Summerslam, King Booker! Orton tries to RKO Cena while Booker has his arms up at the top of the ramp, but Cena throws him out of the ring. Jerry Lawler advertises Vince on Carlito's Cabana, then J.R. tells us HHH will be here tonight also.
KENNEDY! is on his way to the ring. He now has the mic. "You know him, you love him, you cannot live without him, MR KENNEDY! KENNEDY!" Jeff Hardy is now on his way to the ring, he is Kennedy's opponent. The match starts with a lockup and Kennedy gets the upper hand with a headlock, but Hardy quickly reverses it. The ref separates the 2 after being on the ropes for a moment. Another lockup, again Kennedy pushes Hardy to the corner, but Hardy slaps the crap out of Kennedy and he slides under the ropes. Hardy is now clapping for the fans, but Kennedy goes to work with hard right hands and now knees to the gut. The crowd is chanting "HARDY HARDY HARDY." Hardy seems to be tired already as Kennedy keeps getting the advantage. Kennedy tries to clothesline Hardy but hardy throws him over teh ropes and springboards himself over the ropes on Kennedy! Commercial Break..
We're back and Kennedy has Jeff Hardy in a leg lock on the mat, but Hardy is fighting his way out. Kennedy throws Hardy to the post in the corner. Kennedy now bending Hardy around the ring post from outside the ring. Kennedy now stomping Jeff Hardy from the inside. He drags Hardy to the middle of the ring for a pin attempt however he only gets a 2-count. More kicks from Kennedy. Hardy back up now with some punches of his own, but to no avail, Kennedy knocks him back down and tries for a pinfall, still only 2. Abdominal stretch now by Kennedy. He even uses the ropes to gain more leverage. Hardy tries to fight back but Kennedy hangs him upside down from the corner of the ropes. He picks him up now and starts punching to the back of Hardy. Both men are up top now, but Hardy pushes Kennedy off and hits a huge flip off the ropes onto Kennedy. Kennedy misses a clothesline, and Hardy hits a side russian leg sweep, then goes for the pin but only gets 2. Hardy with the advantage now, Hardy going up top as Kennedy is down on the canvas, and he hits a huge swanton bomb but not before Kennedy can get his knees up. Umaga's music hits and he's coming down the ramp. He chases Kennedy out of the ring. Umaga starts yelling at Kennedy from inside the ring, Hardy is up now and Umaga gives him a huge superkick to the face. He's got Hardy in the corner now, going crazy.... Hammering away at Hardy. Then a huge ASS to the face of Hardy, followed by the Samoan Spike! He holds the belt in front of Hardys face while he's down, then just stares at him, sadistically.
JR and The King mention tonights Main Event again, John Cena vs. King Booker! Then they recap last night's Summerslam again, mostly Triple H's return against Booker T.
Vince is in the back with Coach, who asks what his big announcement is tonight. Vince says he will know when everyone else knows. McMahon comes across Kennedy who wishes Vince a Happy Birthday, then Vince mentions that his middle name is Kennedy and says hes not a bad kid, but that he walks a little funny.
Carlito is coming down now for Carlito's Cabana... Next!
Carlito says this will be the coolest Cabana in history, his guest, the chairmain of the WWE... MR. MCMAHON! J.R. calls McMahon the "Big Papi" of wrestling. McMahon grabs a mic, and he says that its a pleasure to be on the cabana. Carlito says its great to have him and happy birthday. Last friday he turned 50. He says even his grapefruits have been growing. He says they've had to with all this embarrasment going on, but he can only be so embarrassed because he's Vince McMahon. He says now, its time to embarrass the woman who gave birth to his bastard son. And he says hes gonna sue her instead for emotional distress. Carlito takes up for McMahon and says that everyone must answer to Mr. McMahon, then Triple H's music comes on! He makes his way down to the ring, jumps up on the mat, and spits out his water! Writer's Note: In case you didnt see Summerslam last night, Triple H looks very slim since the last time we've seen him. Triple H has a mic, but Vince tells everybody to shutup as they cheer him. Vince asks HHH what he's doing out here, he wasnt invite. HHH says hes been gone all this time and this is the reaction that Vince gives him? He says he knows Vince is excited, cause he's celebrating his 75th birthday. But really he has to worry about this bastard son whos wondering around, but never fear, cause HHH is here. However, HHH says hes been doing extensive research about this. HHH says he's narrowed the pool of women down to 4 women who could be the mother of Vince's child. HHH asks if everyone wants to see the women. HHH says he understands that Vince hasnt seen these women in 20-25 years so he'll help him out. The first he slept with at WM 3, he was really drunk and he thought she was Aretha Franklin, her name is Mary, a big black woman! The next woman he was intimate with before a bedroom mishap, somehow Vince missed the target and it ened, but anyway... One-Eyed Wendy, and old white woman with a patch on her eye. Her name... Frank, a big white woman, who seems to talk like a man. HHH tells the women to raise their hands if they had relations with Vince, they all do. Raise your hand if you feel you have a son that could be Vince's son. All but Frank raise their hands. HHH tells them whoever has a penis, raise your hands and "Frank" raises her's or his. Vince tells them all the leave and that hes not gonna take this embarassment. HHH says forget about it, because this isnt the way Vince should be treating him, especially because of Vince's new problems... Vince's new rooster-fighting ring investigation. HHH says its true, theres people outside the building right now with signs saying Vince hates animals. HHH is persistant that Vince hates animals. He starts going down a list of animals that Vince hates. He gets Vince to say that he "loves cocks" which gets a huge pop from the crowd and embarasses the hell out of Vince. Vince says he hates HHH and that he wishes HHH would have never returned, Vince steps out of the ring as HHH is chanting with the crowd "Vince loves cock!" Carlito tells everybody to respect VINCE and threatens to put HHH out for another 6 months. He says he knows Carlito is a tough guy and that he likes to spit apples, but from what hes heard he likes to suck grapefruits too. Carlito bites into an apple and starts chewing, then spits it in HHH's face, which gets him a huge right hand and a spinebuster to the mat. Then a KICK AND PEDGIREE! HHH sits down in Carlito's chair and bites into an apple. The King of Kings is back!
Daivari, Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin are in the ring as we return, Cody Rhodes is on his way down as 1/2 of their opponents, with Paul London and Brian Kendrick right behind him. London and Daivari start out. bodyslam by Daivari on London, but London takes him back down. Tag-team by London and Kendrick now, near pinfall. Hard elbow to the sternum of Kendrick by daivari. Haas in now with a huge slam on Kendrick. attempted pinfall but Kendrick gets his leg on the ropes. London in now with Benjamin who has bleached hair. But he tags Daivari back in. Cody Rhodes with a tag in... nice agility by Rhodes hitting several moves on Daivari. Everybody else is fighting on the outside now. Rhodes hit a cross-body from the top rope on Daivari for the win!
Daivari is in the ring complaining about something as we return from commercial. But Cryme Tyme interrupts him, "YO YO YO YO YO! YO! YO! What are you saying? Nobody around here understands that ying yang your speakin. but everyone around here understands that they like to make that MONEY MONEY!" They knock him down and take his head-dress and proceed to sell it to someone in the crowd. Here comes Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch for an impromptu match, but Cryme Tyme steals Lance Cades hat and takes off through the crowd. They say normally they would sell his hat, but tonight they're giving it away! They dance with the crowd as they sing their Money rap!
In the back, Vince is with Coach. He says he was humiliated. Coach says HHH needs to be punished. Randy Orton bursts in, he looks furious. He says Vince has the power and he wants his rematch, GIVE IT TO ME! Vince tells him to hang on and second. He says right now, Randy doesnt deserve another title shot, not until he can show Vince that he deserves another shot! Until then, NO!
We see Maria on her way to the ring to face Beth Phoenix!
Maria is waiting as Beth Phoenix runs out and starts the match herself. Huge suplex on Maria by Phoenix! The ref tells Phoenix to leave because the match never started. Maria is down and hurt.
JR announces that tomorrow night on ECW there will be a Fatal 4-way, CM Punk, Boogeyman, The Miz and Big Daddy V for the #1 contendership of the ECW Title!
Candice Michelle is backstage with Todd, he asks her how she thinks she measures up against Beth Phoenix's strength. She says she'll take up andy challenge, even if it is against Beth Phoenix, but Snitsky shows up and asks if a challenge is what she wants because pain is his pleasure.
Vince is with Coach again in the back. Vince says hes got a feeling that he's not gonna have to wait 2 weeks to figure out who his son is, because either tomorrow night or next week on Raw the mother will reveal herself. Regal shows up and says that something has happened, Vince's attorney called and said that his entire family will be here next week to confront him and their bringing their attorneys with them. They both give Coach terrible looks.
King Booker is on his way to the ring for the main event!
We're back, and just in time for King Booker's ring entrance. Cena's music hits and he is on his way down the ramp. The match starts with a lockup, and Cena get sthe advantage by pushing Booker to the corner, but reversed by Booker who gives Cena a couple knees to the gut, but Cena retaliates with some punches to the face of Booker. Then a huge facebuster by Cena, and a near pinfall. Booker picks up Cena and slaps him several times across the chest. Irish whip into the ropes but Cena catches Booker and hits a suplex on him, and tries for a pin but does not get 3. Both men up, and Booker gives Cena a hard right hand to the jaw of Cena, who falls down as a result. Drop toe-hold by Cena, who applies the STFU but Booker gets to the ropes. Booker goes outside now...Commercial Break..
King Booker has established command of the match as we return. Near pinfall by Booker. Cena whips Booker to the corner, but misses an elbow and hits the turnbuckle instead. Huge heel kick by Booker, and he goes for the pin but no, Cena kicks out! Submission hold on Cena now by Booker. Cena breaks the hold but Booker gives him a huge forearm for his troubles. Booker hits the ropes and Cena hits him with a huge spinebuster and a near near pinfall! Cena tried to run after Booker in the corner but Booker put him into the ringpost. Huge sideslam by Booker and he tries for the pin but does not get it. Submission hold on the mat now by Booker. Cena turns it around and almost into an FU, but Booker gave him a huge shot to the side of the head to knock Cena over who then goes for a pin, but only gets 2! Booker is pacing the ring now, waiting on Cena to get up, but he misses the scissor kick and Cena knocks him down. Cena puts him in the corner, but Randy Orton interferes and they double-team him in the ring. Randy holds Cena then hits a huge inverted back breaker. Booker then hits a scissor kick on Cena. Booker leaves the ring for Orton to beat up Cena. Orton waits on Cena to get up, but he runs up to kick Cena, but he stops! Orton jumps out of the ring and grabs Cena's father who is sitting ringside. He pulls him over the barrier and onto the floor. Orton starts to leave up the ramp...Paramedics help Cena's father as Raw goes off the air!
