Before the 03/10/08 edition of Monday Night Raw, Jeff Hardy had a meeting with Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis to discuss Hardy's 60 day suspension for a 2nd violation of the WWE Wellness Policy. WWE spokesperson Gary Davis would not specify which drug Jeff Hardy tested positive for when asked by the Associated Press. According to multiple sources the suspension steems from recreational drug use and is not attributable to performance enhancing drugs.
Sources also say that Jeff Hardy was subdued and mindful of his words while being in front of most members of the locker room on Monday. He knows that anything he said could come back to haunt him and put himself into even deeper trouble with the company.
